The Real Estate School of the Lancaster County Association of Realtors® is honored to have the experienced, industry professionals who continue to serve as instructors. Our talented teaching staff consists of active real estate practitioners who are dedicated to excellence in education.
Wayne Angelo is associated with Cross Country Mortgage, Lancaster. Wayne began his financial career in 1990. He attended Millersville University and furthers his studies with numerous courses.
Wayne instructs both Broker Series and Continuing Education courses for The Real Estate School of LCAR and has served on numerous LCAR committees.
Tom Blefko is the Director of Operations for the North Pointe Office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Homesale Realty. He is from Lancaster, PA, and is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College with a B.S. in Business Administration. He entered the real estate business in 1983 as a salesperson and quickly became one of the top selling agents in his company, earning numerous awards for sales production. In 1991, he became an Associate Broker and since that time, has excelled as a sales and office manager, trainer, and recruiter. During the course of his career, he has successfully closed or counseled agents in thousands of real estate transactions.
In addition to his numerous sales and management achievements in real estate, Tom generously donates his time to the profession that he loves and the community where he lives. He presently serves as a member of the planning commission for Hummelstown Borough, Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Lancaster County Association of REALTORS® and is an instructor for the Code of Conduct session of the new agent orientation program, as well as Prelicense and Broker Series courses.
Jason Burkholder is a Associate Broker and Sales Manager with Weichert, Realtors – Engle & Hambright, the oldest real estate firm in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Having won numerous sales awards during his career as a sales agent, Jason now spends most of his time recruiting, managing and coaching his team of “Neighborhood Experts” to higher production.
Jason firmly believes that building successful real estate careers is accomplished through personalized customer service and leveraging the best tools and technology available today to exceed client expectations. He puts this same attitude towards helping other agents become successful on a daily basis. Whether it is teaching licensing classes, resolving difficult problems for other agents, or just providing easily accessible mentoring and support, he is dedicated to the growth and development of those in his local marketplace.
Dennis Cronin is affiliated with Senior Mortgage Advisors.
Dennis has conducted “HECM for Purchase” (Reverse Mortgage Purchase) CE courses for LCAR every two years beginning in 2012.
He has a MA in Organizational Psychology and was a management consultant for 25 years.
Mr. Cronin is passionate about educating seniors, their families and the professionals that serve them about their options for to fund longevity living in the own homes and “aging in place.”
A top-producing agent with Weichert Realtors, Engle & Hambright since 1979, Sheri Dougherty brings expertise and enthusiasm to her roles as a manager, trainer and agent. She has been recognized with numerous sales awards and holds GRI and CRS designations.
Respected for her natural leadership skills and genuine enthusiasm for helping others succeed, Sheri became a manager and trainer for Weichert Realtors, Engle & Hambright in 2005 and has played an integral role in the growth of the company and in the professional development of its agents. She draws on her extensive experience in real estate to provide practical learning opportunities to new and experienced agents.
Sheri is committed to the industry and community she serves. In addition to serving as an instructor for The Real Estate School of LCAR, she has served on various committees throughout her career.
Sue has her Associate Brokers license and has been in the Real Estate industry since 1984. For 30+ years Sue was a successful residential sales agent and earned the designations of GRI, CRS, ABR and was recognized with numerous “top agent in sales” and “customer service” awards. Sue had the privilege of partnering with local builders and represented 7 new home communities during her career, allowing her to have “hands on” experience with new construction and developing land. Sue also volunteered at LCAR and served several committees, plus was an instructor for board mandated classes. Sue has her B.S. in Education from Millersville University and has been actively instructing pre-licensing and continuing education classes. Sue has a true passion for Real Estate and is focusing on educating, consulting and professionally coaching agents and clients in this field. Sue’s goals remain the same: “I will treat your goals, as my goals”, and she is “Your Friend In-Deed!”
Robert Heiserman is Broker/Owner of Donegal Real Estate, 27 West Market Street, Marietta. Bob is also a PA State Certified Appraiser.
Bob is a member of LCAR and was honored as Realtor of the Year in 1991, and received the Distinguished Service Award in 2002.
Bob has taught numerous broker and continuing education classes for the Real Estate School of the LCAR and other PA course providers in Berks, Montgomery and Bucks Counties. He is adjunct faculty at Penn State University and Elizabethtown College.

Tim Johns is affiliated with Keller Williams Keystone of York.
He attended Elizabethtown College, entering the real estate profession in 1979, and has served in sales and management positions. Tim received his Broker’s license in 1984. He hold the Certified Residential Broker (CRB) designation, and also holds the Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI) designation.
Tim has served on and chaired numerous LCAR committees, as well as the Board of Directors. He serves as an instructor for the LCAR Orientation course and Prelicensing Courses, and was honored as Realtor Associate of the Year in 1986.
Michael Perry is an Operating Partner with Keller Williams of Central PA, Lancaster. Mike is a graduate of Penn State and Lancaster Bible College, and holds several industry designations.
He began his real estate career in 1975 with his family’s real estate business, where he served as recruiter and sales manager. Mike later joined Century 21 Regional office in King of Prussia, where as sales trainer, he taught over 15,000 new associates.
Mike instructs various courses for LCAR, and serves as a Senior Instructor for The Real Estate School of LCAR.
Glenn Yoder is an Associate Broker affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. Glenn became a licensed real estate agent in 1999 and earned his brokers license in 2002. He has experience in Listing, Sales, & Property Management. He was a member of the LCAR board of directors for several years, and has served as LCAR President in 2011. He has also earned the Graduate Realtor Institute, (GRI) Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designations. Glenn has served on the ELANCO school board and has volunteered on various committees and task forces.
As the Broker of Record at Younger Realty Group, Joe uses his more than 20 years’ experience in real estate brokerage to attract talented and capable professionals that are interested in building careers in our industry. As a Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager, Joe has proven himself as a capable Broker that understands what it takes to be successful in real estate. In addition to being faculty at LCAR, Joe serves as adjunct professor at the Harrisburg Area Community College. Joe is also involved with The Board of Realtors at the state and local levels, serving on multiple committees including Professional Standards.
Joe’s dedication to education and drive for success are two of the key elements in his career. Having spent most of his life as a student of the industry, Joe has studied under the Country’s best managers, coaches, and mentors. These experiences and a strong national network have given Joe a distinct advantage in the business. Joe utilizes his unique teaching style to educate students and push his agents to achieve extraordinary results. His process has proven to equip both his students and agents with the tools to create long term success.
